Cafe Cargo can offer you a private and tranquil setting following a funeral which can help family and friends to reflect and celebrate the life of a loved one
These menus are flexible and can be altered to suit your preferences quite easily. We do not make a room hire charge if food is being catered for over 20 people

Hot Carved Buffet

Carvery of roast meat served with the usual accompaniments. A vegetarian option can be offered as required.
All served with roast and new potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables

Hot Buffets

You can choose two different dishes but we must be given an indication of the numbers required for each at least seven days in advance

Meat and potato pie served with mushy peas and pickled red cabbage
Beef or vegetable lasagna served with garlic bread and salad
Leek, potato and Stilton crumble served with seasonal vegetables

Coq au vin – pieces of chicken breast slow cooked with onion and mushrooms in red wine and served with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Lancashire hot pot – Lamb slowly cooked with vegetables and topped with sliced potatoes. Served with pickled red cabbage.
Individual Lancashire cheese and onion pies served with seasonal vegetables and a tomato sauce

Just give us a ring to make a provisional booking for the date and time you need or call in check the dates. To confirm your booking a deposit should be paid, although we appreciate this may not always be possible on these occasions. You will then need to let us know your numbers (and final menu choices as appropriate) 4 days beforehand.

Payment should be made on the day unless a different arrangement has been made beforehand.
